使い分け
場所の前置詞を加えると、位置を具体的にできる
場所の説明なしでも人やものの存在は伝わります。前置詞を加えると、どこにある・いるのかまで伝えられます。
There is a cat.「猫がいます」
場所の説明ありThere is a cat under the table.「テーブルの下に猫がいます」— under the table で位置を加えます。
in / on / at の使い分け
本がかばんの中にあれば in、机の上に乗っていれば on、学校という場所にいれば at を使います。
中（囲まれた空間）— in the bag
on面に接触 — on the desk
at場所の一点 — at home / at school
near / under / between の使い分け
位置関係をさらに細かく表す3語です。
近く — near the station
under下 — under the table
between2つの間（between A and B）— between the bank and the school
文法の形
前置詞のあとに場所を表す名詞を続けます。

文法のルール
home / school など活動の場として見るときは at を使う。
in home
at home
home / school は、場所や活動の場として見るときは at を使います。in は「中・空間」、on は「面に接触」、at は「地点」と区別します。
between は between A and B の形で使う。
The shop is between the bank.
The shop is between the bank and the school.
between は between A and B の形で「AとBの間」を表します。1つの場所だけのときは near などを使います。
